Applications and uses:
- These brushes are used to remove the soft parts of timber, to make a wooden surface look old or for giving rustic effect. The brushes can be used in automatic machines (type Tupi) or portable ones which use wire brushes to remove the soft parts of timber and showing up the hard ones.
- For choosing the right brush is necessary to take in mind whether the timber is of hardwood (oak) or of softwood (pine).
- Brass coated steel wire brushes are used for roughing and abrasive nylon brushes to obtain the perfect finish.
